Isn’t there a pastebin for Japanese wrestling from the 70s? JPW, NJPW and AJPW were putting on ridiculously interesting stuff - some of those JPW matches were really interesting in 70-72.

if we’re talking about Japan then the 80s were when the style got more bombastic/flashy and perhaps easier to digest for younger fans.
70s and earlier stuff requires more effort and attention to get anything meaningful out of.
There are some outliers, like the Funks vs Jumbo/Baba from 1973, where the story is straightforward and the work rate dynamic enough to understand without background context.

There is a good chunk of shows from Championship Wrestling From Florida on Youtube. There is about 10 to 12 shows from the 70's.

Unfortunately there's not a lot of footage outside of Japan and the WWWF that not only survived, but survived on a format that doesn't look like a 200th generation VHS. Maybe there's some lucha that's in good quality, never been my bag. And from my understanding some of the golden age footage that's around were actually filmed for movies and weren't live matches.

Around a decade ago I participated in a project to find the best Japanese matches from before the 80s. If I ever stop being such a boomer I'll find a way to upload it to xwt classics. But I remember our main takeaway being that Billy Robinson was amazing. I remember some crazy shit like Baba dropping the Destroyer on his head outside the ring, but be prepared for guys to win falls off of entirely unimpressive vertical suplexes.

Here was our list, hopefully some of them made their way on to youtube.
