If you've been wondering where Asuka has been the past few weeks, she's being repackaged and sent to Smackdown. The interesting part is that creative (mostly Paul with Kana's input) are lining her up to become the fourth member of IMPERIUM. This is following a huge streak of loses from Asuka and her plummeting confidence led her to act strangely on social media and reminisce about how cool she used to be. If you're expecting her to go the Nazi clown girl route don't hold your breath, but the character seems to be archetypical of Japanese stoicism with a mean streak (in layman's terms she's gonna be all about "muh honoru" but in practice be a sneaky jap).
As far as a return is considered the Rumble is the place to be to see that, however as of this writing she's not slated to win. The goal is to have her join Gunther, Vicci, and Kaiser on the Smackdown after the Ruble and she's being considered for a WrestleMania program with Charlotte. That's all I got for now. Til then.
