New Japan got an USA Dojo and this guy was one of the 4 starters in it. He was easily the one with most promise.

By the time he left New Japan, he seemed to have stagnated hard and been overtaken by the others, but it could have been just because of morale, because the guy was angry about NJPW on twitter every month until he walked out publicly.

He's good, but not amazing. He'll have to work real hard to do well in NXT, and also, attitude problems in WWE are much more lethal than they are in New Japan...

Connors and Coughlin are much more interesting both aesthetically and in the ring than him, all he had to do was wait one more month and he'd start getting tours kek

Coughlin is pure dimes incarnate and The DKC grew on me. Connors is really good as well. Fredericks was pretty much the only one of the bunch who never did anything to me.

Coughlin and Kidd were exposed in WTL, which should've hid their weaknesses if anything. Coughlin especially was a huge let down, as he botched his power moves constantly and could barely speak. People like Kidd, but I wouldn't trust the guy not to hang himself within a week if his favorite soccer team lost. Connors is the Michaels of the original dojo graduates, but he's like 5'6" so his ceiling is losing a Jr title match to Hiromu.

Shota is also kind of mediocre, but they're very hopeful for him, which will probably play in his favor one way or another soon enough.

Knight looked better than expecting teaming with Kushida in SJTL. He's taller than Kidd, so with some extra weight he could go heavy and be the best of them all.
