Every single talent that's worth a shit will be virtually retired within 10 years. The content bubble will burst before that as well, which is why Vince is trying to sell to the most content-starved content provider. The only reason WWE has such a high valuation is because media companies have backed themselves into a content ponzi scheme. They constantly need a flow of new shit to shill to their existing subscriber base or those subscribers will go away. People don't realize just how close the end is for wrestling, let alone the entire media landscape.

There are no young draws in the entire wrestling business. There's nothing to replace the current crop of talent that will be retiring in the next decade. People don't realize that the "new generation" that was supposed to keep the wrestling business alive are almost aged out themselves. Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, Cody Rhodes and Sami Zayn are all in their late 30s. If you think these guys were dimeless fucks, just wait until you see how badly their juniors will fare comparatively. We already have an idea of what the 20-something talents offer in terms of drawing an audience with AEW's roster.

Vince knows the business is running on fumes. It's in the beginnings of a death spiral into roller derby levels of cultural irrelevance. Selling WWE right now will be the best and biggest carny act that he ever executed. Potential buyers would benefit by letting the wrestling business die its inevitable death before wasting billions on buying its largest entity.
