I’m watching the attitude era on peacock and am now in WCW April 1998. I was eight at this point and clearly didn’t give a fuck.
A couple of quick observations
>there was a nitro that had nine separate NWO entrances for matches/promos. Most of them were for geeks. Killed the gimmick.
>Bulldog and Neidhart are here and look terrible. No wonder Vince didn’t care if they left and kept Owen.
>Jericho was great. Malenko just “retired” and he did the man of 1004 holds list.
>Ted DiBiase is just terrible as a good guy manager.
>You can just see the wheels come off at the beginning of 1998 after Sting won the title in a questionable way.
Finally, Nash is just terrible. He’s been cutting these long, unfunny insider promos for weeks complaining about Syxx leaving, beef with Hogan. Maybe it was the PTSD from 92 but I’ve just started fast forwarding his interviews and the matches suck. He’s embarrassing as hell dressing like a gang member as a 40 year white guy. Am I missing something with this faggot?
