Update on Dragon Lee

No.8949231 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
Per SRS:

>Dragon Lee, whose real name is not a matter of public record, has had no end of difficulty adapting to the WWE lifestyle. We previously mentioned that he wanted to craft a new name and mask, but WWE management argued that they “had paid for Dragon Lee” and fought against the idea. Lee then got into a very serious argument with Shawn Michaels before William Regal was bought in as a mentor for Lee.
>We can now report that things have take another turn. In a very public environment, Regal accused Lee of “phoning it in” and said that WWE “rewards loyalty and hard work”. This prompted Lee to retort back “like they did for you?” Regal then yelled out “I wasn’t hired for this” and left the performance center, leading to Matt Bloom confronting Lee and telling him to “lay off Regal”.
>Regal returned to work the next day but had quickly retweeted and then deleted an official AEW Twitter tweet about Jon Moxley.
>WWE social media representative Erika Bandhi then met with Regal to discuss the offending post after it was brought to the attention of management by Tomasso Ciampa.
>What does that have to do with Dragon Lee, you might ask? Lee has started telling people that he “won” the argument with Regal and should be allowed to pick a new name. Lee was scheduled to enter the Royal Rumble but any debut is now on hold until Lee and WWE can come to an agreement on a name. Making things much worse is the fact that Lee “openly watches AAA, AEW, and NJPW in the performance center”, which is frowned upon most times and is a major issue with upper management comes to visit. When confronted, Lee told the trainers to “fuck off” and said that he “can watch anything (he) wants” before starting to stream pornography.
>despite all of this, HHH is “optimistic” about Lee’s debut and believes he could “be huge in the Latinx demographic”.
