They might meme him as a dominant champion in 5 years or something. When you watch it back, you’ll see the same Roman talk through the matches, refs get knocked out, the face goes for a pin anyway like an idiot, gets a 3 count with no ref, Uso interference, superman punch and 3 count. Roman comes across as a very sensitive, feminine and insecure character. It’s very strange to me.

Yeah, it's getting absurd now. I think it's partially because of Roman being a part timer now, so every opponent he faces now is relatively built and protected (Brock, Drew, KO, and now Sami) but still.
Going in to EC, I said I'd kms if they did a visual pin off the blue thunder bomb. Glad it was a different move.

It's not that he cheats, which he's supposed to, it's that the face gets blatantly screwed, is directly implied to have had Roman beaten (or in Seff's case even won the fucking match), and instead of it leading to a justifiable rematch angle he just pisses off.

I'm not saying the heel champ has to win every feud clean, but he needs to do a bit better than kicking the challenger in the junk right in front of the ref to get DQ'd or two ref bumps and three henchman with chairs to save him when he gets pinned in the middle of the ring and then calling it done.

I haven't watched in a decade. He is a generic "keep pushing until people like" wrasler. Like Daniel Bryan, no one wants him. But if you keep pushing long enough, new viewers or return viewers mistake the constant pushing and screen time as "this dude is good and liked" and you can get over a shit tier like Bryan or literally anyone.
