Do all of AEW's booking woes come down to the fact that a lot of the roster and Tony are huge PWG marks and they don't realize that the "indie supershow" format doesn't work for weekly TV?
20-minute exhibitions with no rhyme or reason, multi-man spotfests, random Japanese jobbers showing up and having matches with big names despite not earning the opportunities in kayfabe etc. etc. It all just feels like Reseda, but with 30-second backstage segments shoved in to try to explain things. Would AEW be more successful if they ripped of WWE's booking format?
