I didn't mind the empty half of the era but the Thunder Dome half was fucking terrible.
I would actually love to go back and watch some of this Mania, the weird triple threat ladder match for the tag titles for example was something out of a fever dream.

Wwe could pull off a really good running man/smash tv vibe.

The Empty PC era had a certain commitment to wackiness that was missing from the Thunderdome era. Every ppv had a cinematic match. Edge vs Orton had the ghost of Howard Finkel. There were lasers EVERYWHERE. It was just hurt by lack of crowd noise

Wrestling on a soundstage with a studio audience can be really Kino. It just needs a great soundstage design. That's why the first run of nwa powerrr was so comfy

With all its LEDs and lazers and music WWE could look really Kino from Universal Studios.
