Defamation is extremely hard to prove, not only do you have to provide evidence the person is lying you also have to provide evidence that the lie cost your financially. Considering the defamation claim revolves around Punk's health I'd say Tony doesn't really have a case. Not saying CM Phill isn't lying just saying it'd be nearly impossible to prove defamation.

Not necessarily, two separate physicians can interpret the same injury differently. If it ended up in court Phill would probably provide a doctor who agrees with him while AEW could provide a Doctor who would support their case.
