Triple H and Jericho tanked the Mania YoY buyrate despite Rock and Hogan carrying the card and he hit the panic button. WWE had a ton of upper-midcarders like Angle, Edge, Taker, Benoit and Guerrero but no one who could really fill that void. It's hard to blame him for pushing Brock that quickly given the context.
MJF's premature push is laughable and retarded in comparison. AEW's ratings and buyrates were stagnate, proving that its main event scene is completely interchangeable with guys like Moxley, Dickbutt, Jericho, Omega and even fuckin Hangmaam. All MJF had to do was do better than the fake faggot cowboy and he can't even clear that threshold.
