>>5731245>>5731252>>5731534>>Ask about the previous Administrator that came to visit>>Ask about the population. How do they survive in this environment? You inquire with the Priest. “May I ask something?” Giselle mentioned that the previous administrator came around only a few years ago.
“Hm?”
“Was there another Administrator that came by a few years ago? Did they influence the area at all?”
“Hmmm, not that I’m aware of, unfortunately. I wasn’t a Priest until becoming appointed just a few months ago. But I do remember rumors of a visitor a few years ago, likely around that time. He was said to be very upset with the Priests and Clergy at the time, though I don’t know what it was about.” Seems like there’s not enough information to make any proper conclusions. Conjecture will only prove fruitless.
“Is it often you get outsiders stopping by? This location is rather remote.”
“It almost never happens. Or should I say, it never happened before they came along. Then of course there’s you, an Angel of Yalsara.”
Giselle’s hologram lights up on the opposite side of the Priest. “We have reason to believe that individual would have been the previous Administrator. Or at least the last one I detected in this district.”
The priest replies “Are you telling me there are more of these… Administrators? Perhaps another Angel?”
“There are. Or at least there used to be. We don’t know what happened to them yet. Perhaps we can ask the Clergy when we meet them.”
Just before reaching the clearing, you slip one more question in. “The housing here seems strange. How are these towers powered?”
The young Priest points at a large, braided cable running along the sides on one of the columns. “There. Only a handful of us are skilled enough to handle high powered circuitry, let alone basic electricity. Through the levels above and below, it’s possible to find unused power lines. Unfortunately, as these levels are thousands of years old, the aging architecture makes it more difficult to find reliable power.”
Speaking of living conditions, you can’t help but think of Giselle’s remarks. She really thinks you don’t know anything about the people here, rightfully so. “And about the people here, how to they survive? Food can’t be harvested in these towers.” Giselle’s interest is suddenly piqued as she glances in your direction and her eyebrows raise.
