As described by the QM:Rika is a 15-year-old Ling on a journey with her cousin Kari, friends Bubu and Puki, and fox friend Moochy. She is on her Youthful Journey, a custom among her people where you leave your home to travel across the Lingdom to visit relatives and friends in other villages to help out and learn new skills. The function of the Youthful Journey is also to reconnect coming-of-age Lings with wider family and make pleasant Memories.
>What are Lings? Also as described by the QM:Pygmy humans with large, round ears who live in the Lingdom, a kingdom separated from the rest of the world and under the protection of the Emperor. The Emperor is known as a "Tallie", a human of normal height and normal-shaped and sized ears. Among your people are also "Halfies", individuals with both Ling and Tallie blood who appear like Lings in their childhood but enter a rapid growth spurt in their young adulthood.

>What is she like?Rika wears enthusiasm and sophistication as outwardly as she does her elegant village dress. She is compassionate, supportive, humble, and eager to learn from the world around her as she is to partake in it. Talents for crafts and athleticism developed at an early age have aided Rika and her friends on multiple occasions, complimenting the refined demeanor she adapted in the years before her Journey. At times, she likes to imagine herself as a wandering princess who will one day be swept off her feet by a kind, dashing prince. This competition offers a wonderful opportunity for Rika to make new Memories with her friends as they cheer her on to the top.
>What DOES she like?She likes spending time with her friends, jam-filled dumplings, and passing around stories from the series "My Hand is for the Boy I Love!" Of course, she has her lyre by her side.
>What does she dislike?Rika can't stand seeing any one of her friends in distress or trouble. Although she does not hold anything against their chubby fox companion, Moochy, she would not deny that he could be a lot less gluttonous. Maybe she worries about one day becoming separated from her friends, disliked herself, or no longer important to those she cares about.
What do I know? I'm not the QM.>Fun facts:When Kari drags her into games of Demon Swarm with other Lings, Rika becomes Forgotten Princess Ruka, a mighty princess from an unknown kingdom who had her memories stolen from her, and now wanders the land to help others avoid the same fate. Climbing many trees by even Ling standards in her youth has granted her strength and a tall figure, giving her an edge in these games and assisting others.
