“There… is some sense in that.” Lucian had to admit as he looked towards the horizon, “Indeed there might be some lost honor in simply leaving the area of the feud, it is not like much was there to start.”
“He will have his chance when it comes.” Pointed out Adok, “Put our minds together I think we can come up with a good enough excuse to give to everyone.”
“Its either that or we do something to him before we leave.” Lucian pointed out with a subtle smile, “I was thinking of stealing his banner and taking it with us. It shall be my prize for this feud and if he fails to take it out of my hands then it shall be he who loses honor.”
“Does that equal the grievance that he gave to you? I think taking it and sticking it somewhere he would hate to see it would be plenty pay enough.” Adok grew a smile, “Maybe ontop of a cow.”
“No, cows are too worth while.” Lucian pointed out, “An outhouse would be the quickest one, but being quick does not mean it would tarnish him too much. This is a battle to disregard each other's honor after all.”
“Ah, I have it.” Adok grew a devious smile, “There was this one place I went through in the Empire. In that land they served me a fish head pie and boiled their beer. So bad did it taste there that I swore upon my hammer that such a grievous insult that they shall pay for it!”
“It’s really that bad?” Lucian said in disbelief, “I have heard of it, but it was meant to scare me when I was a child. If I misbehaved, I could be sent there.”
“It is quite real and a horrible place to be within. Only shall my enemies be sent there, and I will not spend a single coin upon their food.” Adok pointed out with a tarnished face, “But if we can settle a grudge or two there I would be up for it.”
“We can consider it.” Lucian said as the two continued their way.
