>>5783045Shining her flashlight trough the ports of the first three chambers, Hemya could see nothing but a cramped spaces with cables and hoses dangling from the upper parts.
The last one in line was something else, the cables and hoses in there were attached to a human-looking figure wearing what looked like a hazmat gear.
At least that is what first came to the girls mind.
On closer inspection, the re-breather part of the mask looked far too tight, almost as if that thing is missing its lower jaw and upper teeth.
Even in the greenish light, its skin looks sickly pale and wrinkly, no eyebrows or eyelids whatsoever.
The suit looks like thick bulky rubber and had no visible seams.
That is all she can make out trough the viewing port, at least.
To her surprise, Hemya could actually read what was displayed on the screen.
Well, most of the letters, she still used some interpretation for a few of the letters and words.
>Vessel J1-N1 UNRESPONSIVE>Vessel J2-N1 UNRESPONSIVE>Vessel J3-N1 E892>Vessel J4-N1 READYThis terminal must be responsible for those Vessel-things inside of the chambers.
Hemya tried to access different functions of the terminal for a while.
It would either lead her to different kinds of error messages or a screen full of those strange machine-language symbols, like those on the bottle labels.
The only real option she has on the terminal is:
>activate Vessel J4-N1She has no idea if it would work, and if that 'Vessel' wouldn't become hostile.
All she brought for self-defense was the pocketknife hidden in her boot, and that thing in there is more than one head taller than her.
>start the activation process>search the room>[write in]
