ENEMY CONITION: MODERATE CHASSIS INTEGRITY
ENEMY COMBAT ABILITY IS COMPROMISED
By the results of the scan, he sustained damage before he arrived here. Perhaps his method of travel was reckless. He demolished the levels of the blocks to get here. Perhaps he was struck by a substantial piece of debris. Regardless, you have an enemy to deal with.
You prime your arms and legs.
COMBAT PHASE: INITIATE
You pick up a small piece of rubble and throw it as hard as you can. The rock goes supersonic, but the enemy saw it coming and dodged it just barely. “It’s rude to act like that with your peers.” He says this, voice still devoid of emotion. “If you’re after the terminal too, too bad. I got here first.” You do it again. Another rock, supersonic. He dodges again. “You really want it that bad? How bad do you want it, exactly?”
You say nothing. Instead, you crouch and pounce in his direction, just over the terminal to tackle him. Both of you tumble; metal clashing against metal, plastic on plastic, until both of you collide into the mosaic pattern glass depicting Yalsara, shattering it. The grip of the scavenger is only getting tighter, as the walls cave in more. Being quick, you’re both able to rise to your feet and take a combative stance before all of the glass can hit the floor. You find that your scan was accurate again as the fins of his back are also damaged and exposing his cooling system. The core on his chest is protected still, but the armor is compromised.
“You… how long have you been awake for? What do you even want this thing for anyways?” The hostile Administrator asks this with genuine curiosity. That’s strange. Perhaps these hold more significance than you initially thought?
No more delays. This is where you must decide on where to strike.
>His rear cooling system is exposed. Go for a grapple to grip at his backside and damage it. A roll will occur to determine the damage caused to the enemy.>His frontal armor is compromised. Strike it with a series of blows to rip it apart. A roll will occur to determine the damage caused to the enemy.
