She turns away from the group. That's probably all you're getting but you can piece together that you might have to check out A-Corp's latest films. Seems like the spooks are trying to worm their way into more industries.
>0.25 TRUST OBTAINED!
<You are on ? ??????, ?????. Remember that. ???? ??? robot, ?????? what he ?????.> The static censoring her mind lowered for a moment but as soon as you could hear more, it returns back at full force. Damn.
You kneel down on the floor while your allies intermingle and chit-chat with each other. Lapis has gone quiet now; You probably need to find better ways of lowering her guard. Oh well.
>36!
Your mind blossoms immediately with a speed and intensity you didn't know you had in you. You suppose not having to spend any RESTRAINT on a lot of your power usage helps with that. Your mind, with the same expertise as a spider spinning a web, forms a rough map of the floor you're on and the three other floors above you.
You also sense an intense source of POWER from the 56th floor but nothing beyond that. As for the floors you can sense?
-There's a secret trap door right by your feet. You sense that whatever's down there is just loot; You'll loot it on your way out.
-The second floor is a large sprawling network of cubicles and offices that goes as far as the eye can see. Large swatches of the floor are caved in and damaged; A fight broke out recently but you don't smell any blood coming from that floor. Odd. No secrets detected.
-The third floor is a lot smaller in comparison. It's mostly just a lot of inactive machines (both humanoid and not) in various workshops. There's a faint hum of an generator, so the machinery isn't off due to a lack of power. You sense faint movement up there. Two secrets detected.
-The fourth floor is one long firing range that stretches as far as the eye can see. The stench of blood is overwhelming even just from a mental bird eye's view. A lot of squirming, broken bodies are up there. Two secrets detected.
-The hallway with a lot of noise leads to a small conference room. An overwhelming presence is lingering in that room. An anomalous aura.
Your power crackles off after that. Interesting.
"Benjamin. Step closer to the left hallway."
He gives you a weird look but he trusts you enough to go along with your bullshit. The moment he is right by the entrance leading out of the lobby...
[OPEN MINDED] "Wait. There's an energy there. I don't know what kind of energy but I sensed it around Clover and Casey too." He cautiously steps back from the hallway.
Oh no.
You twist your head around to look at Casey and Clover. Clover might've not picked up on that an hour and a half ago but he's smart enough to piece it together.
