As Adok and Lucian walked in the door was quickly closed and locked as according to the woman. One of those locks was even built with a keyhole facing the inside of the building, leaving her the only person who could not open the door.
Lucian might have felt frightened if he was by himself. But as his companion was a Dwarf with a mighty forgehammer and the door appeared to be of old wood he did not worry that much anymore. Adok would have no trouble with it just as he had no trouble with the chest back in the Temple.
“My Lords.” She began while walking down a hallway with quick feet that was unbecoming of someone that withered. Likely she was picking up pace through sheer freight alone, “I have not seen Father Samuelson in two weeks. None of the girls had either from what I have heard when I asked them about him.”
“Girls?” Lucian asked as he heard the words, “Did he have many friends?”
“Y-yes he did. Quite a few.” She quickly stammered out as they walked up the staircase.
Every step Lucian took he could feel the age upon them. When Adok took his step the sounds of wood groaning under the weight of Dwarf Battlearmor was too loud to ignore. Lucian looked over to see the Dwarf carefully selecting his steps. His hammer being placed on stairs he was not on to disperse the total weight of the Dwarf across multiple planks. He watched, in a somewhat morbid humor, as Adok attempted to skip a few stairs to ones he thought were better.
The dwarf succeeded in this, which was lucky for him as Lucian almost lost his own foot on one that had clearly failed.
“This is his room.” The woman said as she opened a door that seemed to be at random. The three of them landing in a room that seemed in somewhat decent repair except for the sheets, “No one touched anything so Morr does not damn us.”
It appeared that she was telling the truth. There was a small layer of dust on everything that was just like the rooms whose priests had been amongst the first to disappear.
>Look through the room
