As far as you can tell, Liu is handling this perfectly, so there’s no reason to interfere. The girls can’t object any further after that, they look immensely sad and your heart aches at the sight. But you can’t say a word. Makes you wonder why you care to begin with, and a part of you believes that you can sense the Hoboness of these girls. There’s something about their dejected looks that makes it evident. This explanation makes sense and requires no further scrutiny.
Anyway, the girls mumble some words and decide to follow Liu’s request. All of them gave you different types of glances, from sadness to defiance. They’re not happy with a Super Fan existing, or happy with themselves at their lack of confidence about their fandom. Number 1 promises she’ll bring Primavera over as soon as she can. And now, you get to wait. In the meantime, you thank Liu for doing a great job then wondered why they went along this easily, she shyly retorts there’s nothing to thank her for and explained that one of the most contentious topics inside the fandom is that they actually know very to little things about you and they’re insecure about it.
Before you keep this discussion going, the door was opened by Number 1. She lets the girl with crutches in, then closes the door behind her. You three are on your own. This is [b:lit]Primavera Cherrikano[/b:lit]. A tall-ish girl with a unique look. She’s wearing a headband with drawn glasses that look like yours, sports long hair that behaves like limbs, her eyes are shut, and her mouth is slightly dented downwards in the middle, it’s barely noticeable, but you have a good eye for details, mainly on girls’ faces.
Primavera looks at you from top to bottom and back. You do the same and notice there’s a flame on her hurt foot. Another unexpected flame user...
“Well, well, well, so this is the poser everyone is talking about. I didn’t bother to learn your name, whoever you are, but your adversarial predisposition has been noticed. So, here I am.” Primavera doesn’t seem to like you one bit. Laying that challenge struck a nerve.
“V-Vera, please, calm down. We’re just here to talk.” Liu tries to calm her down.
“Hold on. I thought she was here to challenge me. Did the others get it wrong? Now that I think about it, this is surely a misunderstanding, you wouldn’t befriend a dickhead, Liu. And the others, ugh, they get toxic when real competition shows up.” Primavera is flustered for her perceived mistakes. “I-I am sorry, Miss stranger, this one's on me. Welcome to the ‘Johnny Ando Oka’ Fan club! In how can I be of service?”
“Uhm, she—”
“Please, Liu, she can speak for herself.” Primavera smiles as she places her crutch on Liu’s mouth.
