>>5806996I want us to toe the line between dark and light, neither the stereotypical knight in shining armour nor the self-centered, Baelish-like schemer that /qst/ protags so often try to be. We won't betray our family (our true family) but we're willing to do some dirty deeds if that's necessary for them to benefit (and through them, us).
As for eventual goals, well, I stand by what I said about us not supplanting our brother but, just maybe, surpassing him.
I see Alyn as someone who's enough of a youthful dreamer that he might picture himself taking the throne of Dragonstone and maybe even conquering Westeros anew - I mean, we must be have something of that in us given the suicidal foolishness we just engaged in - but at the same time we're too cynical to ever admit that, not to ourselves or anyone else. Alyn might dream of taking Dragonstone but he expects that he'll be nothing more than his brother's loyal right hand, maybe ruling a bannerhouse if he's lucky.
I think it would be cool if we rose high and did something truly epic but I'll equally happy if we end up as just a glowering figure in black armour standing behind our brother's throne, the one who swings the family axe on his behalf, with a gang of loyal warriors at our command.
