This happy-go-lucky lizard is the adopted son of the Coober Pedy's current Captain and has followed his older brother all the way from the fleet academy to the bridge of the family's centuries old vessel.
Known for his cheerful and outgoing disposition, Kiro is always quick to support his team with a laugh, a smile, and occasional application of military grade firepower.
While only a pint-sized reptile, Kiro has a big heart and is adept at both making new friends and encouraging his current ones. His empathic nature and charismatic leadership style makes him extremely suitable for managing and directing any naval operation — from the deployment of a single fire team to multi-megaton nuclear torpedo arsenals.

*Climbing - His particular species descended from arboreal lizards so he always dibs the top bunk! He's quite well built for a Marrok due to constantly working on his upper body strength and dexterity. Don't let him near a jungle gym, he'll never want to go home.
*Warmth - Like most reptiles, Kiro can't resist a long nap in a sunny spot. Though in space that usually means settling for the return coolant line from the fusion reactor. But he always appreciates a hug from his more warm blooded friends.
*Teamwork - Nothing makes Kiro happier than hanging out with his buddies whether that be performing a boring cargo inspection together or dressing up to watch his favourite (definitely historically accurate) holo-dramas with them.
Dislikes:
*Loneliness - Kiro is quite the extrovert when he isn't napping, nothing makes him sadder than being separated from his friends.
*Mercenaries - Pick a side, and fight for what you believe in. You can never trust a merc. They end up killing your parents and making you a war orphan...
*Spinach - Of all the vegetables that could have been grown on the family farm, why did it have to be spinach? Revolting stuff, gets stuck in his sharp little teeth like nothing else.

It also means adults lack a lot of the wisdom that other race's have at the same age. Kiro is 19 Marrok years old, which makes him almost 10 by Human standards. He tends to be quite naïve when it comes to worldly matters as a result.
