<span class="mu-r">“How far have you gone with testing these?”</span> you asked, pointing at the Pym Pebbles. <span class="mu-r">“Got any user experience stories for me?”</span>
Phin scratched his chin and hummed thoughtfully.
<span class="mu-b">“For starters, don’t try to shrink anything larger than a pickup truck.”</span> he advised. <span class="mu-b">“The results of that have been largely…unpredictable. It’d be unsafe for both you and anyone around you. And anything living that’s imprisoned there should be able to get back out in one piece.”</span>
You nodded. <span class="mu-r">“Got it. And, if you need someone to gather more data for you, I’d be more than willing to lend a hand.”</span>
Phin gave you an appraising look. <span class="mu-b">“In return for what?”</span> he asked.
<span class="mu-r">“Maybe a freebie from the next batch?”</span> you suggested. <span class="mu-r">“I can field test them for you, and if I happen to shrink something odd or witness an interesting interaction between the Pebble and another object, I’ll be sure to let you know in full detail.”</span>
After a few seconds of silence, Phin placed his hands on the counter and nodded as well.
<span class="mu-b">“Show me some results, and then we can talk about payment.”</span> he declared.
The two of you shook hands, and then made idle conversation until your suits were ready. Phin pretty much confirmed that you could load the Pebbles into your Hidden Guns as projectiles, or just throw them by hand. They would only go off after impacting a solid object at high speeds.
You’d definitely have to make a custom pouch on your utility belt for them if you didn’t want it to go off in your pocket.
