>>5735571Human nature is consistent and all encompassing. People in divided cultures are often plagued by illusions of uniqueness, up to and beyond the point they mirror all the strengths and weaknesses of cultures treading those paths before. Organizations of systems and systems of organization, always the patterns of humanity are carried through. An idiot could posit that it has never mattered what they're called. For now let's call that idiot and their mother Greek. When philosophers, writers, poets, etc, take the longest looks with many attempts they will become correct, and not as a matter of #'s of tries. Or just that we tend to ignore those who sound wrong, those who "get it wrong", or appear culturally distant from us in what lasting perspectives remain of them. Forgive me but I must Souv.
It is like how marketing is modern psychology's greatest system of proofs.
While also closer to why there is situational wisdom that is verifiably ancient which retains relevancy. Take that a step further with language, with art, cultural tides and interactions, with their countercultures and rises and falls, it wouldn't make much sense for patient thinkers to ignore human patterns. It would be stranger if modern science was not preceded by thousands of years of complete guesses becoming testable facts, with plenty of the guesses becoming facts. In this, human history makes more sense if you think about language as if it were a debilitating disease or mental parasite, rather than an enlightening schema from which print, writing, and communicable technologies were born.
Treat those as side effects, effects of language conquering minds like a virus and channeling our wants and needs into their purest succinct forms, fighting like a fever to aid communication to meet the human need of connection and understanding in every acre of syllable.
It only makes sense then that radio, television, and now the internet have increased to science fiction degrees the speed at which history can rhyme, renumerate, and predate on the absorbed. An environment that is pure language and pure stimulus, it's the perfection of its hunting ground. The disease was always as enlightened as its host, knowing it must spread or it will die.
All the threads of former humanity form the binding ropes of now. Every passed on art, transmitted word, connective theme, heroic myth, worshiped mythos, the gratitude for hatreds, the spent lessons of knowledge gained and lost, the balances and disparities economic and all flavors otherwise, and too much more are the fundamental things themselves in humanity's artifice of reality which formed the world you learned to speak in. And I say to you honestly anon, you were defeated before you were born. Insight's simple grace that you know. You speak and it is disease. You hear and it is plague. Here it follows through, where what happens can be twisted into being equal to what doesn't.
You never stood a chance.
And it is not done consuming you.
