…well, that’s the thing, isn’t it? No one strikes her as the type to do something like this to her.

Maybe someone has a grudge against her. Has she done anything to make someone hate her? Nothing really springs to mind. She’s always been a good student who’s focused on class when it’s class and has fun when it’s time to have fun. Who would take issue with that? Well, there was that one issue with Sharpner where he thought she had problems with him because she wanted Videl to focus on class and told him to quit flirting.
She huffs. If you have time to develop yourself, you should. Did Sharpner never get that memo? Always fooling around and playing games. And to think a guy like him gets to go out with Videl, her crush of some odd years-
Once this crosses her mind, she does a double-take. The hell was that? She has no reason to be jealous of others, especially with her Cocoa. It’s perfectly fine with her if Videl prefers a future of mediocrity so long as she can get di- “Oh, peas and rice!” she hisses.
“Peppa?” Videl whispers, looking at her with concern. Telepathically, <span class="mu-i">“What’s the matter?”</span>
Peppa shakes her head, smiling. <span class="mu-i">“It's all good, I'm fine.”</span>
https://youtu.be/1fM1Ox7fxAo<span class="mu-i">“C’mon, if you’re upset, let me know,”</span> Videl tells her like she’s the big sister Peppa never had, and were that petty side of Peppa to have it her way, wouldn’t have even wanted as a sister. All in all, it makes her feel like junk.
<span class="mu-i">“It’s just…”</span> she looks away, and sees the screen, showing some old footage from the Loony 2 probe showing the Moon Shattering of September 13, 749. Gotta get those dates down… Ah ha! She lies via telepathy, <span class="mu-i">“It’s scary how devastating our power can be. The moon isn’t small, and the Kamehameha turned it into space dust.”</span> (Officially it was a freak comet that would have nearly hit the Earth were it not for the timely intervention of the Furry Administration.)
Videl frowns, but nods. <span class="mu-i">“Just be careful with what you can do. And if you need help with something, just let me know and I’ll lend you a hand.”</span>
Peppa nods, smiling. Videl really is too good a friend for her-
<span class="mu-i">“Also can you let me and Erasa borrow your notes? I lost track around the age of the dinosaurs getting suffrage.”</span>
Peppa nods, smiling. Equivalent Exchange!
>Common Knowledge! EQUIVALENT EXCHANGE<span class="mu-i">"While it may seem complicated, the simple concept is absolute: something cannot be made from nothing. In order to create something, another thing of equal value must be exchanged and is then lost." Peppa's mom trades favors and techniques using this reasoning.</span>
