Clark "Eri" Rei was... Well, already introduced as well as he could, honestly. The look says everything, but he is your best and only chance to mess with technological stuff, he is oddly good at that for some reason. Of course you won't question it, as long as he helps you.
"Whaddahel ya want, Lynn...?" He asks rather rudely. <span class="mu-i">You explain the situation to her as best as you can, but get surprised once he reveals he already knew.</span> "Yeah... Saw your fight. Really fucked up you got into that. Well... Seems like the kinda dumb shit you do, anyway." Without any further words he takes the lance from you and disappears into his work for about 30 minutes... Before coming back and giving it to you, but before that he adds "There's a small part here that allows you to shoot the energy on the blade. You should do that instead of suicidal jumping into shit."
Well, he was serious about his job after all.
You decide it's better to silently take his advice and leave.
"...It's free this time. Next time it won't be. But come over if you ever want something better than that shitty stick."
And off you go... With all your money. That was the best part!
