A student once at the capitol’s conservatory, she was disinherited and expelled for her heretical interests in forbidden branches of magic–only for her work to pioneer brand new worlds of magical study and practice, tantamount to the discovery of a fifth state of matter in the world of science.
The witch tends toward seclusion in her faraway Green Chapel near the edges of the boundless Primordial Sea, an endless expanse of grass that encompasses the known world. Sigrid de Hautdesert is famous misanthrope, and is infamous for denying both neophyte and master magic practitioners alike the chance to work with her.. though, some say this preference hints toward some dark secret she’s hiding away, a skeleton best left in the closet (next to the oversized bloomers).

>Fun FactSigrid used to scoff down up to four cakes for breakfast every morning, though she refuses to do that anymore (she definitely still could).
>Fears and WeaknessesSigrid fears being surpassed by others in the fields she most values–namely, magic. It doesn’t help that she had to exert great effort to get to where she is. Whether conscious of it or not, she bears a natural resentment to those with natural talent.
>Why She’s Queen MaterialSigrid loathes popularity contests but would appreciate the prize money to help fund her research. She only decided to participate at the behest of her terribly annoying apprentice. She refused to wear the custom outfit she sewed for him for this, though. She's certainly not wearing something showing that much skin.
