“Traveling like we are now or something else?” Lucian asked seeking clarification. No reason to let himself be made a fool because of a misunderstanding.
“Well you are not going to stay like this forever. Soon this war will end and everyone is going to go back home. But I can feel it, Umgi, you are itching to settle your grudge.” Pointed out Adok with a grin.
“Indeed, but I have no place to go looking. Even as a peasant I did not catch any word of vampires except for the events we were apart of. We killed the Necromancers, so there was no chance we could get the information out of them.” Pointed out Lucian as he felt irritation, “Without a lead, I cannot see myself let out.”
“Thats not how I see it.” The Dwarf was blunt in his rebuttle, “When I left my hold in search of something to make things right, I did not let myself sit around at the doorsteps of the Karak for decades. There is an entire world to explore out there. What has caught my interests recently is that the island of Albion seems to have runestones made by the giants who live there. I would love to head up there and see those.”
“Albion? But that is so far north.”
“I walked all the way from the World’s Edge Mountains to here by feet, and you have a horse. I do not want to hear it.” Adok rebutted the human with a blunt hammerstrike, “Creatures like her are always on the move. Once you’ve sallied out of Bordeleaux towards Castonne by Thungni she will have already been halfway to Altdorf.”
“Then, what should I do about my oaths?” Lucian asked simply.
“I am already preparing the weapons to give Moriset for your release. After that I believe all thats waiting for you here is that feud with the young lad. If he really wants to fight that feud against you he just needs to track us down. Not like you have a home he can raid.”
>Thats… reasonable
>No, we finish the Feud first
>We could play a prank on him, then run for it. *You can submit your ideas here*
