As you and Seo-young retreat back to the entrance of the bunker, you begin to experience a sense of derealization and depersonalization
>>5618939 >>5618950. The danger and strangeness of the environment, along with the headache, have left you feeling disoriented. As you make your way out, you find yourself thinking about the bunker as a metaphorical representation of the emotional and psychological walls you have built up to protect yourself. You realize that by adopting a different persona, the femsona Aki, you may feel more in control of your emotions and behaviors in some settings. The thought leaves you feeling both comforted and uneasy as you exit the bunker and head back to the outside world.
You both reach the student council room safely and catch your breath. "That was the strangest, creepiest thing I've ever seen," Seo-young says with a shaky voice.
"Yeah, let's not go back there anytime soon," you reply.
As you hear your hearts bumping hard, Seo-young then adds, "It's disappointing we left so soon, though. I wanted to see more of the bunker." You ponder her words and wonder if she thinks of you as a coward for choosing to flee. This thought is painful.
She continues, "But you know, it was probably the correct, rational choice. That sealed abnormal creature was dangerous, but manageable. Getting killed by the sound was unlikely because it wasn't triggered immediately -- I haven't figured out the trigger yet. So, it's not really a deadly threat. But getting caught by the staff and sent to the reeducation room, that's worse than a death sentence. So, we made the correct decision."
The relief floods through you; not only because you escaped danger, but also because you feel that Seo-young is the person you've had the most success in interacting with, and you would hate for her to see you as a failure and not want to hang out anymore.
You say, "We are in a secret facility filled with monsters, anomalies, crazies, and delinquents. This environment is absurdly dangerous. What do you make of it?"
She takes a moment to analyze the situation and replies, "Well, from what I can gather, this is a government-run institution that conducts experiments on abnormal creatures and delinquent students. It's likely that they're trying to weaponize us for some purpose."
You nod in agreement. "But what do we do now? We can't just sit here and wait for something else to happen."
"You're right. We need to figure out a plan. We should try to find a way to escape and expose the truth about this place to the world. But we can't do it alone. We need to gather allies and resources, and carefully plan our next move." She pauses. "Let's call it a day. Let's think about it, and we'll discuss more tomorrow after class."
