“I’ll go in the order I remember the questions.” You ask for a moment. “I plan to get an office and hire a secretary for the agency, Ruby.”
“It’s reassuring to hear you were planning ahead.” Ruby feels a little smug about trusting you.
“The rivalry between you and Vortexia will appear more intense now that you’re under the same agency competing for resources, Nariko.” You respond.
“Can’t let our rivalry’s potential be wasted, huh? You’re so clever, Johnny.” Nariko loves your dedication.
“Also, hiring Pumpkin Pie gives our agency a huge boost in legitimacy, and we can use her coattails to help speed through the starting phases of your career as a band.” You add since you’re on the topic of the new additions.
“Ah! I didn’t see it that way! Only us two are established artists.” Debbie didn’t think this through. “You surprise me, Manager!”
“The Mannequin turned into Neko, Wilma as a kid, and one other person I will not disclose. No more questions along that line in this conference, please.” You inform to Yu Yan.
“The press demands real answers! You can’t hide the truth!” Reporter Yu Yan isn’t going to let this story end here.
“I said no further questions!” You’re about to storm off! “And I have the outline of a plan, but I’ll be working with Pumpkin Pie, Debbie, and now you as well to fill in, Ajna.”
“T-That’s good to hear. A-Again, I-I’ll b-be happy to he-help you in any w-way I can.” Ajna feels reassured, even if she has some doubts about how thoroughly your plan was concocted.
The press conference is over, these answers have calmed down any external anxieties the band had about the future of your Nameless Agency and, more importantly, their careers. In their eyes, you’re not a reckless dummy, but a loose cannon. The Bluesberries are able to enjoy their meal without any further hitches. Night already lured its ugly head, this hectic day is coming to an end, even if one of its main actresses doesn’t want the curtain to fall for petty reasons.
“Can you tell me who the last puppet was now?” Yu Yan doesn’t really care much about the *who*, but as to *why* you’re hiding it.
“Yu Yan, stop nagging him, we need to go to bed. We have school tomorrow.” Nariko is being responsible.
“One part of the shocking revelations I was informed of yesterday is that I don’t actually have to go to school, sweetheart. I’m an adult.” Yu Yan puts one hand over her chest. “I can stay as long as I want.” Yu Yan is not legally an adult. She’s illegally a teenager. It’s odd.
“You keep alluding to this secret past, but you never said a word! I’m sick of it!” Nariko is both upset and curious.
“Nariko is right, Yu Yan. We all have responsibilities to attend to in the morning, so let’s call it for the day.” Ruby sounds reasonable.
