“It is kinda like that. I think you should sing them a song about how sorry you feel!” You propose a great idea!
“You want me to sing?” Carol wasn’t ready for this idea, but she doesn’t hate it.
“It’s going to sound way more sincere than you just saying it.” You point out.
“They were mindless fans of my music. Once you fall in love with my work, you’re predisposed to liking me.” Carol compliments your reasoning with her own addition. “Yeah, yeah.” She bobs her head. “You know them better. Are you sure they’re going to fall for it?”
“Absolutely!” You adjust your glasses. If you force Carol to apologize for real after, they’re going to change their minds! They’re nice girls! It’s up to Carol to stop being so… Carol. “I mean, it’s your music that we’re talking about here.”
“Are you trying to trick me? You don’t like my music. I can tell.” Carol has paid special attention to the way you’ve reacted.
“I mean everyone else does. What would my opinion matter? Besides, you’re too smart for me to trick.” You shrug as you trick her.
“Huh, I didn’t picture you as a guy who would admit that.” Carol has her qualms about this, but anyone likes when their ego is stroked. “But this isn’t that simple. What am I supposed to sing?!”
“You’re a great improviser.” You give her a thumbs up.
“Y-You want me to improvise…?” Carol expected you to find something for her online or something.
“You’re not into free-styling?” You raise an eyebrow.
“I’m not a rapper.” Carol frowns. She’s not a singer either, but that hasn’t stopped her.
“Don’t sweat it, the clunkiness will add to the charm.” You encourage. “Don’t get nervous. I’ll be standing right next to you holding a boombox.”
“What boombox? You mean your phone?” Carol didn’t expect this.
“Nah, I asked the hotel staff to bring us one.” You didn’t think being a manager was this easy.
“When? How? Why?” Carol will repeat those questions a lot from now on.
“I said don’t sweat it! I don’t even know how you can after everything that has happened!” You point out that she was like a fountain.
“Oh, shut up.” Carol furrows her eyebrows. The plan is underway. “You’ll owe me a big one for wasting my time if this fails.”
Several minutes later, you’re standing outside the other girls’ room with the equipment ready. Carol has her microphone ready, and you’re standing with the boombox ready to… hold it? Is that all you do? You think that’s all you do. Anyway, you knock on the door. Vortexia opens. Emily and her were ready to warmly welcome you back, but now they’re two confused chickens who can’t express anything with words. Carol and you walk in together, you kick the door closed, then turn up the volume!
YUNG-P is going to sing…!
