“Be sure to leave that ‘raw, natural talent’ behind before you leave. We don’t need it weighing down the car.” Felicia added.
“No can do. It’s the burden I must bear. You could even say that it’s my only flaw.”
“Really? Because I can name a few if you’d like.” Cat volunteered.
“What’s that? Sorry, you’re breaking up. Can’t hear you over the sound of these blaring alarms!”
You didn’t quite hear Black Cat’s response after that, because you were busy fighting and flipping your way through a crowd of Grays that had gathered together to gun you down. They didn’t seem to be very competent fighters, and relied heavily on their advanced technology to carry them through the encounter, but even that wasn’t going to be enough if they couldn’t hit you.
Somehow, you managed to carve a path through them and make it outside. A quick glance around told you that both girls had already evacuated the control towers. Cat was waiting at the wheel of your escape vehicle, and Araña was hiding nearby. She was no longer in disguise, and Felicia seemed to be holding her cloaking device for her.
“Catch!”
You tossed the Pym Pebble at the young girl, and she caught it easily.
She eyed the orb dubiously. “What’s this?”
“Just get it somewhere safe where there’s a lot of room, and nothing fragile or expensive.” you said, flipping over the hood and climbing into the car.
Despite the fact that your car was about to be bombarded with plasma bolts and the like, Cat was grinning wickedly. She’d clearly been missing the thrill of a good heist in your absence.
She quickly shifted gears and tightened her grip on the wheel. “Hold onto your hat!”
And just like that, you were pulling onto the road and speeding away from Area 52, gunfire and insults chasing you in the rear view mirror. Next stop: The Forbidden City.

Once Araña was made aware of exactly what she was carrying, she stopped asking as many questions and made it her first priority to drop the pebble off before the ship could emerge from her pocket.
That aside, you had to admit that Black Cat was an extraordinary driver. She weaved through traffic, drifted around corners and evaded the authorities with practiced ease, all without breaking that wicked grin of hers. This was probably the happiest you’d seen her in a long time. She was clearly in her element here.
“Coming up on the Forbidden City now. I doubt they’re gonna be happy to see us, even if we look like we work for them.” Cat said.
“So long as they don’t shoot us on sight, I’m gonna count that as a win.” you replied.
