“See ya, Pumpkin pie!” You wave back as does everyone else. Punk-P disappears through the corridors.
“Should we consider her our rival or what exactly?” Nariko ponders like a philosopher.
“Just a fellow colleague. Art is all about cooperation. I believe we will collaborate at one point!” Debbie is enthusiastic about this prospect.
“As long as we all make bank, she can do what she wants.” Yu Yan stretches. “Not like we’ve earned a penny yet.”
“I know Johnny will invest all future earnings wisely, like with a new proper vehicle.” Ruby is very optimistic about this. “Yu Yan, I also need to remind you to not be crass about other people’s bodies…” Ms. Solid Buttocks doesn’t like the previous comments.
“Hey, I’m helping here, I’m giving you an excuse to not ride with us!” Yu Yan feels like she’s done nothing wrong.
“Ruby, you’re coming with us.” You know there’s enough space in the van for everyone.
“I have a rather magnificent idea. Instead, why don’t we all walk back home? It’s a lovely evening!” Ruby clasps her hands.
“You want us to carry all the instruments on our way there? I don’t believe it is a sound idea.” The Lazy Nariko doesn’t see the point.
“I’m sure we can manage!” Ruby says it all positively.
“Is there a problem?” Debbie doesn’t get what’s going on.
“Ruby is van-phobic.” Yu Yan shrugs. “His van specifically.”
“Do you have a heartwrenching van backstory so we can relate to your side?” Nariko asks Ruby for good reasons to distrust the van.
“There is none. It’s a fine machine, right Debbie?” You feel like Ruby is doing theatrics for the sake of them.
“I agree. It worked perfectly!” Debbie likes your van for what it is. “Reminds me of the tractor I used in my childhood farm days.”
“Well said, Debbie!” You’re so proud of her. Ajna pulls your arm to indicate that she really wants to leave.
“I-I’m sorry, but it’s a casket on wheels…! A dangerous piece of scrap metal!” Ruby doesn’t want to show that much contempt, but she’s failing.
“Sounds like the thing I can’t talk about.” Yu Yan wiggles her eyebrows at Ruby as she taps her own butt.
“We’re stressing out Ajna for nothing, let’s go!” You lead the way out of the studio. All girls follow without a hitch, except Ruby.
“E-Even if it breaks my heart, I-I’m s-serious about not joining you…! W-Wait…! Did you hear me, everyone?!” Ruby sees no other option but to trail behind.
Outside, the van is parked near the entrance, you meet up with Xavi sitting in the driver’s seat. The boisterous band lets him know about the Ruby situation while packing the instruments inside. The redhead remains firm about her convictions, just like the thing Yu Yan can’t talk about. But it doesn’t matter, the Hobo girl duo decide to restrain and drag her in.
