“Good job, sis.” The soft, calm voice of another girl says. She looks down to the machine, and notices what Carol has been trying to say the entire time. “Mom, it’s a video call.”
“Ugh…” Carol facepalms, but she’s glad that’s addressed. “Thanks, snowball.”
“Oh! Oopsie daisy! Give me a second!” Grace grabs back her phone and takes a minute to set everything up. She's sitting on a couch with Carol’s sister. The tomato hasn’t changed one bit, except for her lack of pigtails, it’s just one big ball on top now. You weren’t the only one who lost them, but you bet her moment was way less tragic.
