>>5954009Sorry, perhaps that is too forward of me, and these are things that should be discussed in person rather than through letter correspondence. So because of that, I would like to continue where I left off in our last discussion about how I started having tulips grown on my estate after I learned about the mania down in the Merchant Provinces. Well, it turns out that was just the start of it! Blah blah blah blah blah-
Ah, there she goes. Turns out the sketch on pg. 3 of her “letter” was on said garden and how the agricultural specialists are using a magical growing technique to fertilize them. Yes, that does mean she spent a good two pages on the economics of flowers. And no you did not need to reread anything so that you could fully understand what she was talking about, you did not!
Once she finishes her tangent on the tulip economy and her predictions to quadruple her family wealth she begins another on current Lindan fashion, even dipping into armor and new military attire for a while for some reason, before rounding it all out by talking about the going ons at her estate. The more traditional gossip like how one of her maids is sneaking away to spend time with a squire of her family’s knights. That sort of thing. It’s interesting enough but the way Cathrine talks about knowing so many people makes you feel a little self-conscious. She always was a bit better at talking to people and making connections, once the other person got past her unique laugh. The way she poses with her hand and goes “ohohoho” has to be a trained occurrence, you refuse to believe that's a natural response to laughing.
Now though, you’re alone in your room with a small smile on your face after reading a letter sent from the country's northern region. You don’t mentally note how good it feels to receive a letter from a friend, or anything stupid like that. You just bring up your pen to reply. Thankfully, this is an official letter so you don’t need to bother with a quill.
What do you write about?
>You write about your upcoming trip to the north and express interest in maybe meeting up if time allows>You write of trivial things with no consequence, polite and interesting enough chatter>You write about the new weapons you’ve added to your collection and the fights you’ve been in>You [Write-In]
