On Royal Guard Positioning:
Haagenti: It was always the plan to have the Royal Guard provide supporting fire from the top of the tower and the walls, my Queen.
Haagenti: Though I do want to keep two thirds of them in the field.
Haagenti: My estimates on how effectively we can hold them back rely on being able to use Stutter Stepping to its full potential
Haagenti: Doing that without an open plain... it's not impossible
Haagenti: But their effectiveness will be reduced
Haagenti: The DPS increase from skipping their reload animations cannot be understated!
What's a reload animation?
On Cover and Doodads:
Sophie: Ara, you want me to move some doodads around?
Sophie: I can, they'll be plenty cheap, but...
Sophie: If it's for ambushes, that might help?
Sophie: But don't expect that cover to last.
Sophie: And they might just cast fireball right on it.
BLACKGUARD: REPORT: Doodads can cost 2 DP or even more per object group
BLACKGUARD: ANALYSIS: Stone Walls may be more cost effective for the purpose.
BLACKGUARD: PROPOSAL: Turn the courtyard into a labyrinth of stone walls, defended by the DEFENSE CORPS with the Royal Guard in support.
Haagenti: Ah, but if she makes a Labyrinth without putting in some extra treasure chests, our Queen's reputation may suffer
Haagenti: No one likes a stingy dungeon
Kirke: I could supplement with potions from the Alchemy Corps...
On Bombs:
Kirke: Their bombs create an explosive area of 10ft that deals 100 damage to all units within it
Kirke: Reflex halves
Kirke: Though rogue-types take zero damage if they succeed
Kirke: This probably will be chip damage to them, though.
Kirke: Based on my estimates, they probably have at least 10 times as many Hitpoints as BLACKGUARD.
Kirke: That being said, no one likes accidentally triggering mines.
Kirke: Disguising them would be easy. See my proposal from early, your Majesty!
