Even before the attack physically connects Akainu can feel its impact. His stomach indents as if he was just shot by an invisible cannonball. The impact suffuses his whole being and spreads throughout his body. Even as his flesh turns into lava he still feels the damage reverberating through the molten rock. There is simply no escape for him. The sound the collision makes is that of a thin sheet of ice cracking over a half-frozen lake. Blood spurts from his mouth and recollections of a war long over flash in his mind.
And yet... that's only the start.
As soon as your knuckles physically touch him he moves. His legs lift off from the ground and he shoots out like a bullet fired from the barrel of a gun. He heads straight for New Marineford and those that can follow his flight see him hit the wall of the fortress and go through it. Soon a hole comes into view. The tunnel going from one end of the fort to the other visibly expands as more debris is carried off by the insane winds and breaks through the building.
Your fist hangs in the air with black arcs of lightning trailing off from it and carving through the stone road. A single drop of haki falls off from your arm like a raindrop and it sounds like a cannonball being dropped once it hits the ground. You look past the arm and frown. He's still alive.
"Tough bastard."
Looks like you'll have to smack him again once he comes back. But the next one will be the last. At the moment of contact you felt the vibrations flowing throughout his body. The same way your ears help guide you via echo location they revealed his weakness. You'll use that to tear him apart.
"Now then. Who's next?"
Green Bull is still nowhere to be seen. But your ears do pick up his screams as he continues to ascend. That leaves only Fujitora and Kizaru out of the admirals.
"Uh ooooh. Issho-san. What are we looking at here?"
"I'm... not sure. Where I saw the young man now all I see is a void of possibility. My observation no longer picks him up, save for the gaping hole he leaves."
"Hmmmmm. I see, I see. And what does that mean?"
"It means... that our numerical advantage is no longer a guarantee of our victory. Please be careful and take this seriously."
Aside those two there are still the elders to worry about, and the pacifistae, and the remainder of the Shichibukai. Speaking of which, Dracule Mihawk casually starts walking over to you with his sword drawn. Once he's close enough he points it at you but shows no signs of hostility otherwise.
"This is awkward."
"How so?"
"I'd like to do nothing more than to test myself against you now. But I'd like to do that without any distractions and you at full strength. Not to mention I got other things to worry about."
He shoots a glance at Sentomaru and his own copy standing there.
"Shall we resume this later?"
Looks like he's asking for a truce.
>"Should've thought of that sooner, swordsman."
>"Fine by me. Doesn't matter if I make you submit now or later."
>Other?
