(Sorry for the repeat, I didn't expect to write this much and got thrown off.)
>>5894225>>5894272>>5894311>>5894377>>5894287"I'd say it's about enough time to clean your room," you say to her absolute horror.
"W-wait, I was going to-"
"No, you weren't."
She raises her finger as if she was going to argue further, but lowers it a few seconds later.
You pick up a spherical object from the side of her bed.
"It's dangerous!" She yells.
"Then why is it rolling on your bed like a toy? You have a desk you can put this on."
"B-but there's no place on...I was also going to clean that up but-"
You keep pointing at random things that don't belong on the ground, and her voice gets more and more quiet. She's on the verge of tears at this point, so you try a different approach.
"Listen, I get it. You didn't think anyone would ever be here, and you thought: 'if no one shows up, then why should I bother sweeping dust if it doesn't bother me at all? Why should I bother arranging stuff if I know where it is? Why should I leave things on the table if I can work on the floor?' But then you stop doing stuff like the dishes because eating from dirty plates doesn't bother you, then you stop showering or brushing your teeth because it 'doesn't bother you'."
She stares at the floor, digging her fingers into her skin as she stares at one of the many gizmos she made. After what feels like years, she relents. "I...I'll try."
The next hours were a nightmare. There was mold everywhere, you couldn't enter a room because it would shower with bullets anyone that didn't have her genetic code, She refused to throw years old project because she 'might get back to them' or 'can always disassemble them for parts later.' You could find her underwears at every corner and you're pretty sure none of them have been washed since their purchase.
This wasn't cleaning anymore, this was terraforming.
After a lot of effort, bickering and actual blood, you both manage to make her apartment look presentable. Etsy is trying to hide it, but she's actually really happy about how neat and organized everything is now.
Unfortunately, this was incredibly tiring, you hope you don't have to do anything else that's too physically demanding today, or you might just pass out.
