“Everyone, what are we thinking here?” You put your arms around their shoulders, the girls follow suit, creating the well-known human donut of discussion. That’s what it’s called, and you won’t hear otherwise.
“My plan was for us to blow her career away with my own to hold her accountable, but if you’re interested in doing more, be my guest.” Clutz is honest about her feelings.
“In a practical sense, no grand gesture should be enough, no matter how adorable I found her little stunt. Are we in agreement?” Emily starts this meeting.
“Adorable? That’s one way to put it…” Vortexia didn’t like that number.
“I want Carol to be a better person.” You nod. For the sake of everyone, even herself.
“She has to regain our trust by committing to change her ways and repair the harm she’s done. Doing actual work. It shouldn’t be up to us to hold her accountable, but who else is going to?” Emily is being a responsible adult. “I don’t want her to continue like this.”
“I wasn’t planning on cutting ties anyway.” You add.
“But how dull will this be if this is our resolution?” Clutz wants more entertainment. “I don’t believe YUNG-P is going to take us seriously if we’re lenient.”
“It’s not leniency, she needs to be a constant positive presence in our lives. Be our friend and help us out. It’s going to be annoying for everyone involved, but it’ll be better, and it’ll be easy for us to keep an eye on her.” Emily doesn’t say much despite making sense to you. “We can’t keep her under surveillance 24/7 even if we tried, this is the best we can do.”
“W-We’re going to be actual friends? Me and Yung-P?” Clutz is pretty surprised.
“Surveillance, you say? You gave me an idea” You adjust your glasses. “Why don’t we tell on her to her mom?” If you could tell on a deadly assassin to her old master, what’s a famous idol to you?
“Why do I feel like you’ve done something similar to this before…?” Clutz can feel it and doesn’t like it one bit.
“That’s… *ugh*…” Emily facepalms. “…too hilarious to pass on. Let’s do it.”
“W-What…?” Clutz is in utter shock. “You can’t be serious.”
“We can’t be lenient.” You shake your head. You’re crossing this line again no matter what.
“I fear for the future.” Vortexia doesn’t like this agency’s decision-making.
