The two gave hearty laughs as the Dwarf gave a nod to the side, “Well there’s your armor, what you think?”
The Black Knight turned to see the armor that he would be wearing from his day onwards. The first thing that struck him was just how dark the dwarf was able to get the armor without using any dyes. It was accented all over with pieces of gold that were gathered at the behest of Adok.
Of these pieces of metal Lucian noticed that there were prominent runes upon the frame. At the center of it was a powerful rune that Lucian could not help but notice.
It radiated with power that was beyond what Lucian could have ever believe. He knew in an instant that this rune was different from the magic that was used by the Damsel and Vampire, yet it was in the same thread as the others.
A declaration, that was the closest way to describe this rune. A declaration upon the world that was so firm that none could deny its power.
“Its… amazing.” Lucian admitted as he gazed upon it.
“Aye it is and you can feel it too. Runecraft is not for the faint of heart Lucian for it contains the powers of the Ancestor Gods.” Declared Adok as he walked next to the armor, “It is said that the weapons of the Gods, who have a single powerful rune embedded upon them, can kill Dawi who are not sanctified to touch them. With my skill the Rune there has weight beyond simple world itself. It is a marker upon both the winds of magic and the core of the earth itself.”
“So… you are trying to mimic a Rune of the Gods?”
“I am not that arrogant.” Adok announced firmly, “Even if I could, you will die trying to handle it! In time I can make more runes or even greater ones, but first you need to get used to this one.”
With the explanation made Lucian looked upon the Rune presented with focus. His eyes studying it for the meaning it held.
