“So did you find the chocolate?” Izumi asks, dabbing at her arm with a towel.
A doused Peppa blinks, cringes, but only a little. “Oh, right.” …welp! “The chocolate. The chocolate for Cocoa. The chocolate made especially to give to Cocoa. My chocolate.”
Izumi puffs some air from her nose, shaking her head. “Nada?”
“Nope.” Peppa clothes beams a towel for herself, and wraps her entirety in it. “There goes Date Night.”
“I’m sorry.”
“Don’t be,” Peppa says while emerging from her cocoon. “You were a big help!”
“Until I wasn’t.”
“...” Peppa makes a ball of wind energy, and blow-dries herself with it. “So you know how to heal, right?”
Originally a technique of Namekian Mystics, the handy method of healing wounds was thankfully introduced to their circle thanks to her mom’s chain of equivalent exchange.
Izumi nods, going back to wrapping bandages on her arm, and not doing that technique at all.
“So why not heal that up?”
Izumi goes quiet for a bit. She finally says, “Memorization.”
Alone with her cousin, for as long as it will last, Peppa considers what questions to ask her.
>A. Can we book an appointment with my therapist?
>B. Why do you need to study this hard?
>C. Where did you get this method from?
>D. Are you comfortable with letting others know?
>E. Write-in
