>>5943439“Say aah~!” You request as you select the portion to cut! Before you could slice it down with your fork, Emily moves your hand a little to get a little more cake.
“Aah~!” The gleeful Emily eats the bigger bit! She holds her cheeks with both hands as she tastes it.
Then it happens.
Emily floats so briefly, acting like a strong wind is pushing her upwards! Her hair starts flickering violently! Her rosy cheeks turn sweeter! In her eyes, the blue flame that signaled her brainwashing is wiped away! You can see the tiny particles disappear in the air. It appears like Emily is free from Carol’s influence. Does your cake have some kind of cleansing effect? It did turn Debbie from green to blue, but wouldn’t this be the exact opposite?
“It’s… FANTASTIC!” Emily tries to maintain her composure, and does an admirable job trying, but she can’t hide the overwhelming effects of your sweet!
Did a bigger portion do the trick? Was the effect subdued by your lack of skills? It needs 2 spoonfuls to get the joyful trigger. It’s a difficult cake to make, so it’s not out of the question! You have mentioned it as such. A little less strength can be felt easily, the world of bakery is ruthless.

“Want some more?” You ask your date as you already start slicing a new piece. “Say aah~!”
“Aaaaaah~!” Emily closes her eyes and opens her mouth as wide as possible! Okay, not that wide, but she was eager to do it. You place down more sweet goodness, and she starts enjoying herself. Unlike Vivi’s reaction, this doesn’t seem out of the ordinary aside from the start. And, huh, her hair is still flickering out of happiness. “I can’t believe you did this for me. Thank you!” Yeah, she even talks normally! To be honest, Debbie didn’t change much after eating it. Though, Emily is getting kind of touchy, more willing to be next to you.
This is still weird enough for Carol’s watchful eye. She watched everything. With a napkin in her hand, she spits out the piece of cake in her mouth.
“Phew, close one. I’m glad I’m not stupid.” Carol is happy to have saved her own skin. “Hey, I wouldn’t eat that cursed thing if I were you.” Her attention turns to Clutz. Carol might be an asshole, but she doesn’t like unnecessary suffering.
