But you won't use it to stop the Blue brooch as you share a similar mindset with Bulma.>You'll wish for something to help you with your endeavors but not something that'd rob you of the joys of improving or getting stronger through effort and hard work.==============================
Thinking about Bulma's question for a moment as you stared out the window, you lowered your eyes at the answer. Something that your stomach knew far before your heart, much less your mind had concluded. "I guess, I could spend a couple minutes at Fuller's party. But I'm only going to eat the bumbling numbskulls out of both house and home. Once I'm done with that, I'm leaving."
"I shouldn't be surprised that you would choose that. Dare I say Koku, you might quite possibly be a real deviant rather than the girl scout you get made out at school."Bulma teased, making another wryly smile to your dry wit. Thus, causing you to lower a glancing glare at the super geinus.
"Bite me if that's a risque potshot, Bulma." You snapped, resting your chin against your palm, looking out to the sky through the transparent glass.
"I didn't intend it for that definition."Bulma retorts with a snort, lightly smiling as she takes in her surroundings. "But it's funny how Agundas hitting on you started this rivalry in the first place."
"I told him I wasn't interested, especially towards guys who are weaker than me. I didn't think he would take it seriously or that his boss and best friend Fuller would come to his defense." You interject, defending yourself while taking a deadpan expression.
"Guys like those can't take a hint and often want those that they can't get easily, much less have entirely." Bulma retorts, insinuating their popularity allows the girls to flock to them. Thus, their showboating jock bully stick. "Besides, it's not entirely fair to have that kind of standard, Koku. You're like the strongest person I know. You'll never land a man at this rate."
"Says the scientist who also rejected the two of them when they asked." You countered. "Besides, two hundred shouldn't be THAT hard to beat."
"First off, you and I both know that number is far from your actual full strength. Secondly, I didn't punch them when they couldn't take no for an answer and got into your personal space. Besides, they knew that I was an impossible catch anyway due to my status." Bulma proudly corrects you, waggling her finger mid-explanation.
Lowering your eye to her, you turn your head away from her. "No, I'm pretty sure it's your high maintenance and your eccentric behavior that drove them off."
"Quiet you." Bulma scoffs, pushing her hand against your shoulder in a friendly punch.
"Seriously though...Thanks for the birthday gift." You genuinely smiled at Bulma, who can only smile back.
"Anytime."
