The little green bugmen had come to visit!
But... the visit didn't seem to be on such friendly terms...
...despite that, the little octopi they brought with them seemed cute. And the Ledimon population had been (mostly) unharmed so far.
The newcomers became instantly wary of the strangers that had propelled them to evolve in the first place, but didn't act on anything yet. Their population was still thriving, after all.
So much so that the species could expand to its hearts' content.
Every Ancient Ruin nearby could be taken. If the Ledimon could see it, they could expand into it. And so they did!
They remained rather aggressive- not in defeating their opponents, but in subjugating them with tricks of the light and their newfound crystallization capabilities. The expansion even gave the species an eye for the east outside of preoccupied scraplands: there were Shallows here? And that's where the octopi had come from? Huh, interesting...

While the Ledimon continued to expand their dominion in this strange new world, the Bidemon and Telesmon back home continued to struggle to maintain their own. Both species were under attack from multiple angles, with the Bidemon only being able to afford a small expansion south and the Telesmon further east.
The Great Migration wasn't over yet, was it? They could still escape, couldn't they? There was no way the Telesmon could continue being forced under the new Cannonbushmons' thumbs for much longer, after all...
