>>5969398Both you and Chi-Chi let out a chortled laugh at Bulma's bemoaning snark, earning a shake from the sagacious talking cat as he stares at the Eternal Pillar. "If you're done lollygagging, follow me and I'll take you where you need to be."
"Where we're heading is called the Shinsenkai/Realm of Gods and Sages, it's an otherworldly dimension located in the Heavenly Realm. As you know the heavenly realm is an invisible world that coexists with the physical world but that is ordinarily impossible to detect or perceive. "
"If that's the heavenly realm, then I can't imagine what's heaven like." Bulma snarks, following behind Chi-Chi and yourself as the three of you start to follow after Korin.
"Well, Ms. Smartypants. If you must know, heaven in fact does exist, and the heavenly lands transcend the very concept of dimensions. So I'd advise you to be on your good behavior if you ever want actually to see it when your time comes."Korin retorts, immediately shutting the bluenette up with esoteric facts and logic.
"Infinite-dimensional spaces...of course," Bulma mumbles with a huff, folding her arms as both you and Chi-Chi hold back a joyful chortle.
It would only take a couple of minutes of walking through the inner chambers of Korin's tower before the three of you arrive at your destination. It was a rather spacious abode. Nothing fancy seems to catch your eye as you see the minimalist lifestyle through Korin's choice of furniture. It was quite befitting of the ascetic ways you come to expect from the sage cat. Especially given that you've lived quite the monastic lifestyle yourself. Nevertheless, your trip didn't take you much further as Korin stopped at a rather large, circular table. He motions your eyes to look at what appears to be a quaint jar sitting next to his herbal tea set. You could feel strange energies emitting from the jar, mystical.
"Alright, where we'll be heading will be within that exact jar stationed on the table. Think of it as a bridge between our world and the one that co-exist within our realm. But don't fret, the jar is virtually indestructible so we don't have any worry about being stuck in the Shinsenkai if the worst comes to worse. But I'd doubt that to be the case given that this place already is practically undetectable by most. " Korin explained, slowly opening the jar in the meantime.
"So what, are we going to be teleported inside with some elaborate magical mumbo jumbo?" Bulma asks, looking around with a dull expression.
"Normally yes, but given the situation, we'll be climbing our way towards this divine realm through another tower." Korin continued.
"How long will the climb be this time?" Chi-Chi asked this time, being the last one to make it inside.
"Fifty-nine thousand kilometers to be exact," Korin answered with a soft smile.
