The man's face adopts a Cheshire grin, “That’a boy! Now, scratch any plans you made for the week, you’re going hunting!”
“Wait already!? There can’t possibly be too many active Strangers in the country.”
“And that’s what got me so worried, Asher. Read these then get some rest,” He hands you a few documents from his mess of a desk, “You’re going to need it.”
You briefly skim the pages, frown, and give the Lord Inquisitor a grim nod. No one disturbs you as you find a place to clean up and sleep. What you wouldn’t give to be born in less interesting times.
At least sleep comes easily enough.
>Inquisitor Asher will remain in the partyYou are Lornia de Lindan and you have just finished your morning routine. Your stomach is full, your hair is dry, and your weapon maintenance is done. Your mace has a few chips in it but nothing to worry about. A messenger came by earlier this morning to inform your family that Inquisitor Asher himself will be arriving early in the afternoon and to prepare for a weeks-long trip to the north. And yes being fond of heavy machinery is something noblewomen often are, you’re not weird.
But that’s beside the point! After conversing with your parents and your brother’s family over breakfast about the past night you’re left with a problem. They all have a country to run and you’re not leaving until this afternoon. It’s middle morning and you need something to do until then. Now all you need to do is figure out what.
