"Just tell the kid what we talked about and let's get out of here." She huffs and tugs on his arm, more accurately she clings to his arm.
"I was getting there." Question says, still yet to wipe the puff of sugar from his cheek.
"What are you trying to tell me here?" You ask, getting slightly frustrated.
"Amanda Waller." Huntress says in a firm voice.
"Who?"
"One mean bitch with a God complex and the resources to enforce it. When we were in the big leagues we dealt with some of her goons."
Question chimes in, pulling a small yellow handkerchief from his back pocket and wiping his cheek. You notice strangely the lack of face doesn't seem to leave any residue on the handkerchief, whatever he did to appear that way it wouldn't simply wash off.
"She's the current head of ARGUS, she operates a group known as Task Force X. Colloquially known as the Suicide Squad."
"Question had her pegged from the start after we ran into their Task Force trying to kill a South American Politician, he drew the line straight to her from the get-go." Huntress rejoins. "Everyone in the tower ignored him when he talked about her and what she'd do. When he went into investigating on his own, they revoked his membership and so I went with him. " Huntress speaks quietly and almost sadly, her eyes scan over Question's featureless visage.
"If there's one thing I know, it's that when a government official is in charge of a 'Task Force' it means they're dirty." Question replies quietly, holding his hand up to Huntress' cheek.
"Guys. Jesus Christ, why do I have to be careful of Amanda Waller or her goons. I'm a police officer, and I've done nothing wrong."
Question breaks away from Huntress and approaches you.
"She has the power to disappear you and any other cop on the GCPD." Question says quietly, but strongly. "She is not someone to be trifled with, not by people like you."
"Meaning?"
"Police Officer's are nothing more to her than almonds to snack on, before she starts targeting the people with power."
"I appreciate the vote of confidence, Q." Some doubt creeping into your own voice.
