“Well, you see…” Nariko lifts him up through the handshake. “I don’t throw threats lightly.” She puts him down, then walks away to reveal a chain tying them up together. “Don’t be concerned, this is a safety measure and nothing more. Stick to the questions and you’ll leave unscathed.”
“As competent as ever…” Tonu pets the chain coming out of his palm. “I didn’t want to break a sweat anyway.”
“Once this is done, I’ll be the first to remind the judge from this jurisdiction that he forgot to make the non-violent duels… <span class="mu-i">Non-violent</span>.” Athelone chuckles from her stand. “Shall we begin?”
