>>5670491>>5670494>>5669934>>5669953As the war raged on, the Bidemon lineage found themselves unable to surmount the threat that Golimon posed to them.
However, the nascent behemoth was confined only to a space in which the Feremon had always lived. The Bidemon's enemy knew these lands better than the Bidemon invaders did, and that gave the intruders confidence.
What they perceived as Golimon's inherent strength could simply come from unfamiliarity with the land it walked. The Golimon might've been taking advantage of their home territory- not proving that they were an outright stronger species.
With this strong belief burning in their collective hearts, alongside the Bidemon's undeterred willpower to continue onward, the species soon found themselves a solution to the Golimon
question problem.
The species worked tirelessly, day in and day out. Digging and digging and digging for every scrap of mineral and marvel alike. Each gem they found would go to the strongest member of their group- each mineral would be distributed to feed the rest and their families.
Eventually, the most powerful and agile members of the Bidemon species were awash in wealth, well-rewarded for their skill. It prompted them to put in more and more effort, and over time they began to change.
Initially the mon simply grew more appendages. They began as piddly little things- no bigger than the arms they initially possessed, nor any stronger. But over time, as they became more and more accustomed to their environment, they grew in size and strength, eventually becoming able to conquer all but the toughest of terrain.
Their claws turned to drills, hastening the process of terraforming to better suit the advancement of the species' wartime tactics, becoming used both for combat and construction.
From there, the species elongated. They were becoming good tunnellers, after all, and it wouldn't do to have such a squat body in such tight spaces. So they lengthened themselves to that end- and growing a tail simply became a natural consequence of that.
Finally, the Bidemon grew in size, becoming able to support themselves on either two legs or eight, and the moment finally came...
>Bidemon Digivolved to...>ASTHENOMON!>+1 Size (1 -> 2)>New Trait: Something relating to the added appendages + facultative bipedalism (even if this is less "response to stress" and more "whenever it's more convenient"). I was thinking either something that has to do with expanding faster or overwhelming easier, but it's up to you.No secondary action this turn. I don't want the Edismon to compete with the Bidemon or just become another one of them. Maybe I'll keep it around as-is as a trophy lol.
