"Okay. So, two courses done as a group, then we 'pass'?" Anything else would probably be bragging rights or just for the sake of the training. "Alright. I understand. Perfectly. Crystal clear. Uh huh. Welp! Kiara, follow me over there." You point towards the COMBAT STIMULATION COURSE. "Naomi, deal with the mental training. Alexis, stay behind in case we die."
Naomi gives a sad smile before swiftly returning her expression to a neutral, level expression. "Separating for a short time would be the best for the both of us. Any other matters are adjourned, to be resolved at a different time." She splits from the group, heading over to wait in line for the mental training course.
Alexis simply sighs in relief. She heads over to a small resting site on the edge of the course to try getting some shade from the heat. <span class="mu-g">You can tell she's incredibly thankful you didn't involve her in anything.</span>
Kiara blankly stares at you when she realizes where you're going. "Excuse me? I-I've covered wars before but, you know, I usually AVOID running head first into combat. Though I guess I can defend myself but-" And now she's rambling at a million words per minute in some bizarre language you can't understand. It soon devolves into a buncha numbers even your schizo brain can't decipher any reasonable pattern.
Alex promptly smacks the android as hard as he can on the top of her head. Percussive maintenance, huh?
<<span class="mu-b">"ERROR! INTERNAL COMPONENT DISCONNECTED! REPAIR NECESSARY."</span>> Kiara pulls out that repair kit Alexis got her and with the precision only a machine can have, she unscrews a panel on her head and begins to tinker with the inside of her head. In about five minutes, you see her remove and replace about five different components before screwing the panel back on.
"...I suppose there's no better way to understand the mindset of a soldier. It couldn't hurt. Well, it could, but you understand what I mean." Her voicebox chirps out.
"Always works. Get going, you two." Alex promptly shoves you two in the direction of the COMBAT STIMULATION course. Welp! Can't be a coward now! You're a woman of your word, god damnit! Kiara trails behind with some hesitation but after taking a moment to focus, she lets out a digitized sigh.
"Eh. What am I worrying about? I can handle this. I've covered wars, you know!" You grimace at her saying that phrase again. This better not become a habit of hers. "What? I did. C'mon, practically what I was designed for! Well, the covering part, not the-"
She promptly shuts up when you two arrive at the gate separating you from the course that has torn through dozens to hundreds of people before you. Even the armed guards standing by it seem skeptical at to why you're approaching. "You two are civvies, what are you-"
They glance up to see Alex sternly staring at them. Having no choice BUT to let you in, they only offer one word of advice to you before ushering you through the gate. "Survive."
