What? Joe is asking if you remember the time you sat on the big flat rock at the edge of the stream and Joe shared his lunch with you? That's a really nice memory! You look up at Joe and nod your head!
"We ate fish!"
Joe smiles and turns his head forward.
You look at Joe for a moment and then turn your head forward and you and Joe sit together quietly.

It seems like it's nice to sit quietly sometimes!
After a few moments Joe turns his head toward you. "I'm glad Auroara told me something was bothering you." When you look up at Joe he says "I've felt strange ever since I used the cutécaptor. Professor Plumtree told me there would be a mental connection between the human and the Cutémon, but-" Joe looks away and then looks back at you. "Even though I grew up with Psyotee, this is different. I don't hear your thoughts like Psyotee. And it's not like it is with Sailater, either." Joe looks down and looks back up at you. "What do you think?"
You look forward for a moment and then look down at your jacket pocket.
"Wild Cutémon better."
Suddenly you look up at Joe!
"Please smash it!"
What? You just noticed Joe looked away with a strange expression on his face? It looks like he's upset! You lean forward so you can see his face!
"Joe?"
"I didn't want you to get hurt by the Vitium." Joe looks at you and says "I didn't know all this would happen." It seems like Joe really is upset! He looks away again and says "I read Professor Plumtree's article about the cutécaptor. I don't think it's easy to break. It's the same types of metal the ancient humans used."
What? You just remembered the huge buildings made by ancient humans are thousands of years old? You don't want the cutécaptor to be around for that long!
"I was thinking, there might be a way to turn it off somehow." When you look at Joe he grins at you. "And if we stay friends long enough, you might unlock those abilities on your own."
It seems like Joe really is a good friend! You can't help smiling!
"Thank you, Joe!"
"I need to stay here with Sailater for a little while longer. I should be done in about an hour." Joe glances back at the doorway behind you and asks "Will you and Auroara and your other friends come back then?"
[SFX: noise]
What? Joe knew Auroara and your other friends were peeking from around the doorway? You look up at Joe and grin at him and nod.
When you walk out the doorway Auroara and your other friends are waiting for you! Auroara grins at you and asks "Well? Did you tell him everything you wanted to say to him?"
You nod your head!
You walk out of the arena and toward the ditch, and then down into the ditch and...
"I thought I would see you again."
What? You recognize that voice?
